A & H International are the leading supplier of equipment to the world of football
referees. Providing everything from whistles and flags, to full referee kits and
watches. A&H wanted to integrate their website directly to their back office
Sage 50 installation.
With the project being handled by A & H International owner (and ex-Premiership
referee) Jeff Pettitt, several companies were approached regarding the integrated
solution. After some due diligence, and in-depth conversations with the team at
Aspidistra, A&H chose the Shopfront solution to drive the business forward.
With close liaisons between the teams at both companies, the project was successfully
delivered on time with the new website up and running in time for the Christmas
rush. Utilising price lists in Sage to bring up the applicable pricing online was
key for the site as a whole, as was real time stock availability to their customer
base.

"Aspidistra are professional,
knowledgeable and friendly. We now have a system that is robust, automated and supports
our operations. As we aspire to become world leaders
in our field we’re confident we’ve picked a partner who will support us in our quest."
The Old Bag Company is a local success story growing from strength to strength over
the past 5 years. Sally Hurst, owner and founder of the Old Bag Company already
had a successful retail based ecommerce site though it was not integrated with their
Sage 50 back office system.
Sally approached Aspidistra with a view to revamping
their current site. The main area that came to the fore was the requirement to be
able to service their Trade customers, as well as maintaining their retail ecommerce
presence. With over 300 retailers throughout the UK stocking and selling the bags,
the ability for these retailers to order directly online was a massive driver.
Sally worked with local web design company The Web Machine in creating brand new
designs and look and feel for the Old Bag Company. Aspidistra built the site as
per the specifications and integrated this directly with Sage 50. With a mixture
of B2B and B2C customers utilising the site each and every day, being able to automate
these orders has been a huge time saving for The Old Bag Company and has helped
streamline their business processes. With real-time stock levels online, and specific
pricing for the retailers utilising price lists in Sage, the site is already proving
a massive success.

Wicker Mobility, part of Associated Chemists (Wicker) Ltd, have provided tools and
everyday equipment to assist people with disabilities in Sheffield and the surrounding
areas for over 25 year. With an extensive catalogue of products from household items
to scooters and power chairs, Wicker wanted to expand their market to include all
of the UK via an online ecommerce site.
With Wicker using Sage Line 50, we were able to provide a fully integrated solution
from the new website through to the back-end systems. Working with a local web design
company, we built the newly designed website, keeping in theme with Wicker’s current
catalogue. Our Shopfront solution integrates directly into Sage Line 50, automating
both the sales order process and stock management. We were also able to solve the
issue of zero rate VAT for qualified individuals at the point of sale.
Mark Taylor - Associated Chemists (Wicker) Ltd’s IT Manager
"After careful consideration and meetings with Aspidistra,
it was clear that Shopfront would meet our requirements precisely and allow us to
launch this new and important revenue stream with minimum impact on staff resources.
Developing the site with Aspidistra was a rewarding experience with both companies
working as one to produce the finished product. No suggestion ever seemed to be too much trouble and we are delighted with the finished site."
Cricket Direct required an update to their current Actinic based website to enhance
their online presence. In addition, with a large number of orders being taken each
day, integration with the back office Sage 200 install was paramount to its success.
Working with a local design house, The Web Machine to create a brand new design
for the site, Aspidistra constructed and integrated the site. Included in the site
was specification for micro-sites for all the branded goods to showcase these in
a more dynamic manor.
The company started in 1995 and is dedicated to provide the top brands, such as
Gray-Nicolls, Kookaburra, Slazenger, Gunn & Moore, Woodworm, Puma, Hunts County,
Fearnly, Newbery, Salix, MRF, Chase, Asics, Albion, Masuri, CRK, Bolle. Aspidistra
have now rolled out additional sites for Cricket Direct including Premier Sports,
Hockey Direct, and Just Rugby.

Fable Trading are the sole distributer of Trollbeads in the UK and Ireland, beautifully
designed and sculptured beads for bracelets and necklaces. Fable Trading required
an online solution for their trade partners to be able order directly online. Shopfront
has helped streamline the business processes within Fable Trading with the bulk
of the customer base now ordering directly online. This has reduced both their internal
processing time of these orders as well as a reduction in incorrect orders and returns.
Initially built on a Sage Line 50 installation, Fable Trading needed to be able
to process their customer’s orders directly into Sage, whilst showing live stock
levels online and any discount structures required and agreed with their trade partners.
With the new Shopfront system up and running and orders being placed successfully
online, the next challenge for Fable Trading was an upgrade to Sage 200 Suite. Working
closely with Fable Sage business partner (Red Business Systems) the Shopfront solution
was also upgraded and migrated to the new Sage 200 install.

Gill Clarke from Starlite runs on of the biggest 'Dancewear' supply businesses in
the UK. They hold the largest range of Dancewear in the UK and are suppliers of
all the leading brands.
Their online requirement was a mixed one for both their Retail arm (dancinginthestreet)
and their Trade supply arm of the business (Starlite)
Working with their Sage Business Partner Aspidistra created 2 individual sites for
both Retail and Trade customer base. Both of these websites run from a single installation
of Sage 200 at the back end and push orders directly into Sage. In addition, real
time stock levels and pricing structures are relayed to the website giving ALL their
customers a correct stock position to order against. Trade customers log in to the
website and Shopfront relays their correct pricing levels to the website incorporating
any discount structures agreed with Starlite.

BELRON is the world's largest, dedicated, vehicle glass repair and replacement (VGRR)
company and the home of some of the best known brands in the industry including
CARGLASS ®, AUTOGLASS ®, LEBEAU ®, O'BRIEN TM,
ELITE AUTO GLASS ® and SAFELITE ®.
Through our tight integration with Sage 200, Belron contacted Aspidistra to discuss
their new requirement for their engineers to be able to order replacement products
directly online. With a huge number of engineers working throughout the country,
manually processing their orders was proving to be a massive overhead to the company.
After several meetings with the Senior management team of Belron Aspidistra constructed
and created this new B2B site incorporating real-time stock levels and specific
pricing based on the information held within Sage 200. This is a key strategic move
for Belron, and the partnership now formed between Belron and Aspidistra will continue
to grow as both companies move forward into the future.

Through Aspidistra’s work with Muddy Puddles, Nick Alderton could see the value
of an integrated system tied into their use of Mail Order Manager (MOM). They have
been so successful that they have won the ECMOD Best Menswear Catalogue award for
two years running.
After several meetings and a reference visit to John Cullen at Muddy Puddles, Aspidistra
and Peter Christian embarked on a brand new online retail site.
With a new design created by The Web Machine, Aspidistra provided a fully integrated
system for Peter Christian. With real-time stock information online, incorporating
colour choices and sizes throughout the site, Peter Christian’s online sales are
growing strongly both for new and existing customers. With the MOM user base growing
year on year, Aspidistra see this type of integration as key to their success alongside
the Sage Shopfront portfolio of solutions, with additional MOM users being rolled
out in the coming months.
