MOM Integrated ecommerce
Fentongollan Flower Farm in Cornwall grows 160 acres of daffodils and narcissi for the sale
of cut flowers and dry bulbs.
Although Fentongollan already had a successful mail order business and an ecommerce web
site, online order details were being manually copied to the mail order database – an
extremely time-consuming process.
Aspidistra Software recommended Mail Order Manager (MOM) to handle sales order processing
for both the mail order side of the business and the web site.
We worked with Fentongollan's chosen graphic designer to implement a custom
designed web site using our MOM Integrated
ecommerce package. We also provided several bespoke modules for our
ecommerce software to integrate with MOM and provide the following benefits:
- Product descriptions and prices synchronised with MOM and published
to the web site using our Catalogue Editor application
- Online orders placed directly into MOM
- Payment details securely placed into MOM
The web site was built using Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
