Peter Christian is a family owned business run by Nick & Miranda Alderton from the hamlet of Small Dole tucked away in the South Downs about 10 miles from Brighton. Nick and Miranda both served 20 year apprenticeships in Mens Wear mail order retail before setting out on their own and establishing Peter Christian in 2003. They aim to provide classic British clothing with a distinctive style and quality of tailoring to add a smart touch to your wardrobe.
So successful have they been that they have won the ECMOD Best Menswear Catalogue award for two years running.
Through Aspidistra’s work with Muddy Puddles, Nick Alderton could see the value of an integrated system tied into their use of Mail Order Manager (MOM).
After several meetings and a reference visit to John Cullen at Muddy Puddles, Aspidistra and Peter Christian embarked on a brand new online retail site. With a new design created by The Web Machine, Aspidistra provided a fully integrated system for Peter Christian. With real-time stock information online, incorporating colour choices and sizes throughout the site, Peter Christian’s online sales are growing strongly both for new and existing customers. With the MOM user base growing year on year, Aspidistra see this type of integration as key to their success alongside the Sage Shopfront portfolio of solutions, with additional MOM users being rolled out in the coming months.
